Fire Dragon Armor Guide

I just finished up my latest guide "Dragons of Atlantis Fire Dragon Armor Guide", which you can view by clicking on either the picture below or the link.  Find the best way to farm for your Fire Dragon Armor and be one step closer to dominating your realm!

It took me around an hour to find all four pieces of Fire Dragon Armor and it was definitely worth the wait.  The quest reward gives you an extra 2K power and you can use your Fire Dragon to farm for Anthropus Talismans and items to train Fangtooth, Granite Ogres, Lava Jaws, and Banshees.  Happy farming!

How Many Swift Strike Dragons to Kill a Level 5 Anthropus Camp?

Swift Strike Dragons are the fastest troop in the game, so if you can train a bunch of them and get lucky enough to win some Pack Dragons in Fortuna's Chance, farming for food from level 5 and above Anthropus camps can become a quick job.  10,000 SSD is plenty to kill a level 5 Anthropus camp and 20,000 should do the trick for level 6s.

Wraith Dragon Changes

Kabam just announced that the changes to the Wraith Dragon have gone live.  It now takes 100,000 Anthropus Talismans and 1,700,000 Blue Energy to summon your Wraith Dragon.  As I have yet to create my Wraith Dragon Outpost, I will have to wait to comment on this until a later time.  However, this weekend I will be making the final push to build my Wraith Dragon Outpost and will create a guide to help all of you guys out who need the info!

Successfully Conquer a Level 9 Anthropus Camp

I just received a comment on one of my Dragons of Atlantis guides asking how many Longbowmen it takes to farm a level 9 anthropus camp.  Prior to this question, I had only hit level 8 and below.  Check out the screen shot below to see what kind of troops I used to successfully attack a level 9 anthropus camp.

As you can see, I sent out:

• 88,000 LBM
• 1,750 Giants
• Stone Dragon

My research levels are as follows:

• Weapons Calibration 10
• Metallurgy 9
• Medicine 8
• Dragonry 8
• Aerial Combat 8

This worked for me and once you get several of your Outposts up and running, training 100K LBM doesn't taken very long.

Stone Dragon Armor

New guide posted!  Check out the link below to read my guide on how to find your Stone Dragon Armor and use your Stone Dragon in attacks!  I found all of my armor in around an hour following the steps in this guide.  Next up is finding the Fire Dragon Armor and then moving on to the Wraith Dragon.

2 Million Power

 My main empire just hit a pretty big milestone, 2 million power!  Check out the screenshot below of my Dragons of Atlantis city.  I'll be posting a few new guides in the next couple days, so check back soon to find out how to set up your Wind Dragon Outpost and get your Stone Dragon Armor.

 

The Sunken Temple

You can now farm for your Serpent Egg by conquering level 5 and above Lakes.  You MUST send a Great Dragon or Elemental Dragon in your attack and you also must have built and Ice Outpost.  Good luck and happy Dragons of Atlantis farming!

The People of the Bog

The Venom Dwellers have just been released for those of you who have built your Swamp Outpost.  According to Kabam, these troops are effective against Stone.  So if you are attacking another player who uses Granite Ogres to defend their city, these troops will be very helpful.

The requirements of creating your Serpent Dragon Outpost including owning an Ice Dragon Outpost and a Spectral Ruins.  Stay tuned for guides on building all three!

Mephitic Serpent Egg can now be found in Wilds

A new Outpost is available in Dragons of Atlantis!  According to Kabam, you can find a Serpent Egg by attacking a level 5 or higher lake.  You must include your Great Dragon or one of your Elemental Dragons in the attack to find the egg.  Stay tuned for a guide on finding your Serprent Egg and building yet another Outpost!

Coming Back

Like nearly every MMO player before me, I have fallen off the wagon for a while with DoA.  I started this blog in 2009 and have sparingly updated it.  According to Google, this blog is nearing an interesting milestone in page views: 200,000.  I never thought many people would actually read what I have to say about this game or that I would still be interested in it and playing it over two years later.

I've had a couple different cities on different servers, but I thought that I would show all of you the current city that I play in Dragons of Atlantis.

 
It's not really that impressive, but I'm starting to build up some power and am slowly building and researching to the point where I can write some new guides that are more focused on players who have spent some time (or money) on their cities.  All of my guides (which you can visit on HubPages by clicking the links on the right column of this blog) are written to help players who do not wish to buy Rubies from Kaboom to advance their cities.  I like playing this game for free and I think that most MMO players would rather spend a little more time to build their city or character rather than just fork over some of their hard earned money.

Anyway, stay tuned over the next couple weeks to check out some new guides that I'm working on.  I'll be posting them on HubPages but I'll make sure to link to them from this blog.  Thank you to everyone who has read my guides and kept up with this blog.
